We Teach The Following Styles:

Jazz

Jazz is the most diverse of dance, ranging from the old musical styles to the latest styles as seen on Video clips. Jazz classes can benefit flexibility, strength and coordination, and these classes include warm-up exercises, progressions and routines dancing to the latest hit tunes.

Tap

The American style of rhythmic foot stomping known as tap dance was born in the United States and today is popular all around the world. Tap classes challenge your feet with rhythm and timing, with choreography as diverse as Gene Kelly’s “Singing in the Rain” or Tap Dogs urban style.

Classical Ballet

Ballet is a disciplined dance form from where all correct dance technique is derived. Ballet is best known for its unique features such as pointe work and high extensions, as well as its graceful, precise movement and ethereal qualities. Ballet includes traditional barre and centre work designed to build a beautiful, graceful and healthy body with proper body alignment and poise. Ballet is essential for any serious dancer as it compliments all other forms of dance.

Contemporay/Lyrical

This style of dance is a fusion of classical ballet and jazz. The movements show the meaning of the music through choreography and interpretation.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is similar to the dancing on the latest music videos. The classes are fun and set to the latest music trends. Hip Hop is great workout without realizing you are exercising and is a perfect place to start if you have never danced before. A usual class begins with a funky warm up, light stretching, finishing with a routine.

Acrobatics (Acro)

Acro classes are similar to gymnastics except it does not involve apparatus work. The focus is on developing flexibility and strength. Classes include extensive warm-up, stretching and strength exercises, and balancing and tumbling skills.

Toddler Classes

A great way for young children to enjoy music and movement. Adult stay and help their children participate.

Pre-School Classes

An introduction to dance class with lots of musical activities to promote rhythm and co-ordination.

Acrodance

For 3, 4 and 5 year olds. A combo class learning acrobatic and dance skills.
